Its scenes present the toil Of placer miners in an isolated canon, the search of prospectors for gold and silver, the discovery Of aworld-famous lode, the extraordinary migration called tersely the rush to Washoe, the life of a turbulent mining camp, and its ultimate crystallization into a thriving city.
